Campaign Finance and Election Law
A campaign can succeed or fail based on its ability to quickly respond to allegations made against it during the height of the political season. The Law Office of Elliot S. Berke PLLC represents federal and state political organizations in matters involving complex campaign finance and election laws and regulations, including the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) and the Bi-Partisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA). Mr. Berke's clients have included political party committees, federal candidates and campaign committees, political action committees (PACs), and 527 organizations.
Mr. Berke works with clients on permissible use of campaign funds as well as on general operational legal issues. Mr. Berke advises clients in preparing their contribution and expenditure reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. His work includes representations before the Federal Election Commission (FEC) as well as state election commissions. Mr. Berke also advises clients on ballot access and other election law issues.
